This presentation explores the many ways autism can present across children, teens, and adults, including presentations that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Topics include masking, sensory differences, social communication, emotional regulation, and how autism may present differently in girls, high-masking individuals, and those with co-occurring anxiety or ADHD.
Experience Dyslexia is an interactive simulation designed to help participants better understand the day-to-day challenges experienced by individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences. Through hands-on activities and discussion, attendees gain insight into how learning differences impact reading, writing, processing, confidence, and classroom participation — while also learning practical strategies that truly help.
This workshop focuses on the real-life skills students need to manage school demands, including organization, planning, time management, task initiation, memory, and study strategies. Participants will leave with practical tools to help reduce overwhelm, build independence, and support academic success at home and in the classroom.
